Hello colleagues and friends,
The planet is moving constructively ahead with ALL states and people acting to seriously combat climate change and global warming, with a new set of Governments in over half these states, including Mauritius. Fortunately, these are backed by the thousands of local initiatives in favour of ecological lifestyles and peace on Earth.
Unfortunately, like never before, dark forces with the unwitting help of modern technology, have led us from conflicts to wars, back to the dark ages of killing other humans for no reason, just sectorial gains.
Yet we, the nations of this Planet, have adopted the UN Universal Declaration of HUMAN RIGHTS, which states under its first Article: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood”
Facing the wars in UKRAINE, in SUDAN, in GAZA, and the internal denial of human rights in AFGHANSITAN and elsewhere, WE MUST ALL AGREE AND LEARN RIGHT NOW TO SOLVE CONFLICTS AND PROBLEMS THROUGH DIALOGUE AND NEGOCIATIONS, NOT MISSILES AND GUNS. We need FACILITATORS and NEGOCIATORS to call together these parties at war, to urgently explore and find solutions (like the 2-State Solution for Israel and Palestine), to stop the killing and start to rebuild.
This is a call to each of us to bring his or her capacity and experience to help advance the advent of peace on Earth and, by our way of life, to best preserve Planet Earth as fully suitable for supporting life.
