PRESS COMMUNIQUE
The Management, operating under the trade name Planet FM wishes to inform the public in general that there have recently been reports of malpractices with respect to the company. On 22nd May 2019, the sole shareholder revoked the directorship of Mr Balkrishna Vishwanath Choolun and Arvind Kumar Audit in order to carry out a fair and proper investigation into those allegations.
A police declaration was given pursuant to this and enquiry is ongoing. Further the Director and Company Secretary Mr Mahendarsingh Sarrop submitted his resignation on 22nd May 2019. However, by way of covering letter dated 23 May 2019, an application for Transfer of Shares was deposited to the Registrar of Companies which, as per the Directors, was clearly not in order. The Management wishes to inform that the content of the Share Transfer Form is disputed and a declaration to that effect has been made by one of the Directors. The Management reserves its rights to take such further legal action as it may be advised.
The Management also wishes to inform the public that the actual Shareholder and Director, Mr Arvind Nilmadhub had to leave the country on Saturday 25th May 2019 for personal reasons and is now back in Mauritius since 30th May 2019. In the books of the Company, Mr Arvind Nilmadhub remains the sole shareholder.
The Management wishes to inform that in light of the ongoing Police Enquiries, it cannot unfortunately give any further details.
Otherwise, the Management wishes to inform the public in general that it is business as usual at Planet FM.
